TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Dalton State women's cross country team took on a deep and competitive field at the FSU Invitational on Friday morning, racing against over 30 collegiate programs from across the Southeast.
 
The Lady Roadrunners placed 28th overall out of 36 scoring teams in the 6K championship race, finishing with a team score of 861 points and an average time of 26:18.96.
 
TOP PERFORMERS

• Kylie Gray led the team with a time of 24:20.7, placing 123rd overall.
• Marlene Paez followed with a strong finish at 26:14.6 (176th).
• Kate Girard clocked in at 26:36.2 (181st).
• Allison Batts ran 26:41.8 (182nd).
• Madison Todd rounded out the scoring five with a time of 27:41.5 (199th).

• Anna Anderson – 30:56.9 (231st)
• Taylor Harris – 32:57.3 (239th)

UP NEXT
It'll be two weeks' worth of rest for the distance team before they hit the course again in Huntsville, Ala. for the UAH Charger Invitational at John Hunt Park on Saturday, October 11.
