Athletics Interns are provided the opportunity to learn in the areas of Athletic Communications and Game Operations. Below are job descriptions and requirements for positions available. Interns are considered part-time volunteers. Federal Work Study may be available to those on the Dalton State campus. All other internships are unpaid. Those interested should follow application guidelines.

Year-long internships will begin around July 1, however, there are transitional periods throughout the year where additional hiring may occur.

Semester-long internships will begin at the beginning of each semester and may be extended further at the request of the intern. It is, however, under the discretion of the Assistant Athletic Director as internship coordinator to decide if the request may be met.

If your degree path requires or allows you to seek out for-credit internships, we encourage you to fill out an application and express interest in our program. For-credit internships are strictly for academic credit. Applicants are responsible for finding and paying for their own housing and other needs during the term of their internship.
