HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Dalton State women's cross country team hit the course at the UAH Charger Invitational, tackling a challenging 6K race against a competitive field. The Lady Roadrunners finished 21st out of 26 teams, showing grit and determination throughout the event.
 
Leading the way for Dalton State was Kylie Gray, who crossed the finish line in 84th place with a time of 23:27, setting the pace for her teammates. Close behind were Kate Girard and Madison Todd, finishing 158th (25:14) and 160th (25:16) respectively, followed by Marlene Paez in 164th (25:19).
 
Rounding out the scoring runners were Allison Batts at 196th (26:52), while Taylor Harris (240th, 31:35), Anna Anderson (242nd, 31:37), and Kylie Brown (246th, 36:18) contributed strong efforts to complete the squad's performance.

Cross Country will be back in action on Friday, October 24 when they make the trip to Knoxville, Tenn. for the ultra-competitive NAIA Appalachian Challenge at Sequoyah Park.
