MCKENZIE, TENN. – With just two games left in the regular season, the Dalton State Men's and Women's Soccer teams will hit the road to take the pitch against the Bethel (Tenn.) Wildcats in an SSAC double header on Thursday night in McKenzie, Tenn.

MEN'S TEAM
The Roadrunners are riding on 3-game winning streak after routing Brewton-Parker (Ga.) 6-1 and improving their record to 3-3 in the SSAC and 7-7-1 overall. In their last outing against Bethel, the Roadrunners exploded in the second half for three goals and relied on their defense to hold the Wildcats at bay to earn a 4-3 victory. This season, the Boys in Blue have outscored their opponents 34-33, and are back at .500.

WOMEN'S TEAM
With just two games left, the Lady Birds will hope to end their season on a high note after slumping to 0-4-2 in their last six games. In the previous match, the Roadrunners gained the lead going into the half but allowed a goal in the second and ended the game tied with Brewton-Parker (Ga.). When the Lady Birds faced the Bethel Wildcats last season, they faced a tough defense and dropped the game 4-1, but will get a chance late this evening to avenge that loss.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
The Bethel Men's Soccer team has been impressive this season, going 5-1 in the SSAC and 12-3-1 overall, a good enough record to earn them a spot in the SSAC Conference Championship quarterfinals. The Women's team is 2-4 in the SSAC and 9-7 overall.
