The Dalton State soccer team treated a capacity crowd at the Lakeshore Soccer Complex to a dominating 3-0 win in their regular season home debut versus the Buffaloes of Milligan College (TN).

The Roadrunners took control early and jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead when former Southeast Whitfield standout Ramiro Guerrero scored the opening goal off an assist by Ibrahima Sissoko. The opening score came just 4:30 into the game.

As the game crossed the halfway point of the first half, Tomide Adabale provided the perfect setup for a goal by Jose Villalobos with 23:42 showing on the game clock. Adabale wrapped up the scoring with an unassisted goal with 15:12 remaining in the opening half of play.

"It was great to get up 3-0 in the first half," said Coach Kerem Daser. "The other team showed a lot of discipline. Give them credit. All of our guys up front are dangerous. Defensively we're getting better. Our goal keeper (Christopher Curren) is getting better and Isael (Guerrez) is the man. He is again my MVP in the back."

With the victory, the Roadrunners remain undefeated (2-0-1), while the Appalachian Athletic Conference member Milligan College falls to 0-3.

For the game, Dalton State finished with 12 shots on goal as opposed to only 5 for the Buffaloes.
