DALTON, Ga. — |FULL SCHEDULE| The Dalton State men's soccer program has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a challenging slate that includes early-season road tests, neutral-site matchups, the Dalton Classic, and a full Southern States Athletic Conference schedule.
 
"We look forward to making this a special season," Douglas Oliveira, Dalton State men's soccer coach said. "WE have a great group for the Fall and a tough schedule. There are very good games that will test us in non-conference home and away."
 
The Roadrunners open preseason play on Saturday, August 8, with a 2 p.m. match at UNC Asheville in Asheville, N.C., before hosting Patrick & Henry on Friday, August 14, at 5 p.m. at Dalton Stadium.
 
Dalton State begins regular-season road action with back-to-back matches in Indiana, visiting Indiana Wesleyan on August 20 at 4 p.m. in Marion, Ind., followed by Indiana Tech on August 22 at 4 p.m. in Fort Wayne, Ind.
 
The Roadrunners return home for the Dalton Classic, which opens Thursday, August 27, at Dalton Stadium. Dalton State will face Campbellsville at 7:30 p.m. that evening, then take on Northwestern Ohio on Saturday, August 29, at 11 a.m.
 
Following the Dalton Classic, the Birds travel to Lawrenceville, Ga., for the Georgia Gwinnett Classic, where they will face MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) on September 5 at 5 p.m. and New College of Florida on September 7 at 2 p.m.
 
SSAC play begins at home on Friday, September 11, when Dalton State hosts Faulkner (Ala.) at 5:00 p.m. The Roadrunners remain at Dalton Stadium on Sunday, September 13, for a 4 p.m. conference matchup against Mobile (Ala.).
 
Dalton State then hits the road for conference contests at Brewton-Parker (Ga.) on September 17, Thomas (Ga.) on September 19, Andrew (Ga.) on October 1, Point (Ga.) on October 3, and Life (Ga.) on October 17.
 
The Roadrunners' SSAC home slate also includes Xavier (La.) on September 25, William Carey (Miss.) on September 27, UT Southern (Tenn.) on October 23, and Blue Mountain (Miss.) on October 25.
 
"The SSAC schedule, as usual, will be very tough, but the non-conference portion will get us ready." Oliveira added.
 
Postseason play begins with the SSAC Quarterfinals on October 30-31 at campus sites, followed by the SSAC semifinals and finals November 5-7 in Montgomery, Ala. The NAIA First and Second Rounds are scheduled for November 19-21 at campus sites, with the NAIA Men's Soccer Final Site set for November 30-December 7 in Orange Beach, Ala.
