GREENWOOD, Ind. — Dalton State sophomore Luis Carrasco has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District men's soccer team, recognizing his achievements on the field and in the classroom.
 
A native of Madrid, Spain, Carrasco posted a 4.0 GPA and earned first-team All-SSAC honors in 2025. He started all 17 matches for the Roadrunners this season, finishing with two goals and one assist for five points. He recorded eight shots with five on target.
 
Carrasco transferred to Dalton State from Governors State in University Park, Illinois, where in 2024 he appeared in 16 matches with seven starts, scoring one goal. He took five shots and placed one on frame.
 
Academic All-District honorees are considered for the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Established in 1952, the Academic All-America program is the longest-running national award recognizing combined athletic and academic excellence across NCAA divisions, the NAIA, two-year colleges and Canadian institutions.
