KANSAS CITY, Mo. – As conference tournament action heats up across the country, Dalton State Men's Soccer continues to make its presence felt on the national stage. The Roadrunners remain ranked in the NAIA Men's Soccer Netting Professionals Top 25 Coaches' Poll, coming in at No. 25 among the nation's elite programs.

Dalton State's consistent performance throughout the season earned them a spot in the poll for another week, reinforcing the program's reputation as a rising force in the NAIA. The Roadrunners posted a strong 9-3-5 record, highlighted by key conference wins and a resilient approach in one of the toughest leagues in the country.

While the top four teams, Oklahoma Wesleyan, MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.), Keiser (Fla.), and Bethel (Ind.), held steady, Dalton State continues to draw national attention as they prepare for postseason play. The team's ability to compete at a high level against strong SSAC opponents has positioned them well for consideration in the upcoming NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship, with the official bracket set to be revealed during the Selection Show on Friday, November 14, at 5 p.m. CT.

Poll Methodology
  • The national poll is for publicity purposes only and does not influence the selection process for national championship consideration.
  • A panel of head coaches representing each conference and the Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) votes in the poll.
  • The Top 25 teams are selected using a points-based system:
    • 30 points for a 1st-place vote, 29 for 2nd, 28 for 3rd, and so on.
  • The highest and lowest rankings received by each team are discarded before final tallying.
  • Teams receiving only one point are not listed as "receiving votes."
  • For the Preseason Poll, there is no "previous ranking" column since it is the initial poll and differs from the prior rating system.
