KANSAS CITY, Mo. - In the final Coaches' Top 25 Poll, Central Methodist secures all 18 first-place votes and pushes its consecutive streak to eight weeks. The top six teams showed no movement from a week ago. Columbia (Mo.) dropped three spots, Lyon (Ark.) three as well, and Milligan (Tenn.) two places. There is only one new team to reach the rankings in Grand View (Iowa), replacing William Penn (Iowa).

By The Numbers
This is the 72nd NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll to be released since the men's soccer program has been eligible for national rankings. They have achieved a national ranking or received votes in 45 of the 712 polls. The highest ranking in program history for the men's soccer team was achieved on the April 14, 2021 poll when the Birds came in at #5.

Poll Methodology
  • The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions and Unaffiliated Groups.
  • The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second place and so on through the list.
  • The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed and the team's ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appear on.
  • Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered "receiving votes"
