Box Score Hattiesburg, MS - The Dalton State men's soccer team (9-1-1, 3-1) fell to nationally ranked William Carey University Saturday night by the score of 4-2. Freshman Santiago Moore gave the Roadrunners a first half 1-0 lead before William Carey responded with three unanswered goals in the second half. Freshman Daniel Valenciano made the score 3-2 but DSC gave up a fourth goal in the last minute of the game.
"William Carey was fresher than us tonight", said head coach Karem Daser. "They were the better team. We will learn from this defeat and get back to training before our next match at home against Faulkner."
