NORMAN, Okla. – Dalton State men's golf was named a 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipient by the Golf Coaches Association of America, earning NAIA All-Academic Team honors after posting a 3.24 team GPA during the academic year.
 
The Roadrunners were one of 15 NAIA programs recognized on the All-Academic Team list, which honors teams with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Dalton State joined Bethel (Kan.), Carroll, Defiance, Doane, Keiser, Lewis-Clark State, Milligan, Morningside, Northwestern Ohio, Park, Reinhardt, Spartanburg Methodist, St. Ambrose, and William Carey among NAIA institutions earning the honor.
 
Across all divisions, a GCAA-record 331 schools earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 season. The GCAA also recognized 155 programs with Presidents Special Recognition for finishing with a team GPA of 3.5 or higher.
 
Texas A&M-San Antonio was named the NAIA Academic National Champion after leading the division with a 3.734 team GPA. Other Academic National Champions included Maryland Eastern Shore in NCAA Division I and HBCU, Virginia State in NCAA Division II, Bowdoin in NCAA Division III, Iowa Western in NJCAA Division I, and Kirkwood in NJCAA Division II.
 
The PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Awards are presented by the GCAA, the professional organization of men's collegiate golf coaches. Established in 1958, the GCAA supports coaches across the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA while recognizing excellence by coaches and student-athletes in academic, athletic, and civic achievement.
