KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dalton State opened the Spring portion of the NAIA season at No. 12 in the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25, collecting 321 points in the March 20 rating, the first poll of the Spring and third of the regular season. The Roadrunners were previously tied for sixth in the final Fall ballot.
 
Unanimous No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) and No. 2 Reinhardt (Ga.) held the top two positions, while the rest of the board saw broad movement. The Spring reset also featured notable climbs from Webber International (Fla.) (No. 4 after No. 15 in the fall) and Coastal Georgia (up to No. 6 from No. 12).
 
From a Peach State perspective, Reinhardt (No. 2), Coastal Georgia (No. 6), Dalton State (No. 12), and Point (No. 18) give Georgia four programs inside the Top 25 to start the stretch run.
 
Dalton State's position keeps the Roadrunners firmly among the nation's elite as the championship push begins. With two weeks until the next rating, the focus turns to stacking strong Spring results to climb back into the Top 10.

Ratings Methodology

• The rating is rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and unaffiliated groupings.
• The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 for third-place and so on through the list.
• The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team's rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
• Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered "receiving votes".
