MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Ben McFadden of Dalton State was named SSAC Men's Golfer of the Week and Sara Burger of Dalton State was named SSAC Women's Golfer of the Week. The award is based on performance for the week of Feb. 16-22.

 

Ben McFadden (Dalton State – SO – London, England)

·      This is his second-career weekly honor

·      McFadden won the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite with a two-under 214 (73, 69, 72)

·      The Roadrunners finished third in the tournament

Sara Burger (Dalton State – JR – Dalton, Ga.)

·      This is her fourth-career weekly honor and third this season

·      Finished tied for third at the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite at six-over 222 (80, 73, 69)

·      Her final-round 69 was one of only two sub-70 scores in the tournament
