DALTON, Ga. – [FULL SCHEDULE] The Dalton State men's basketball team has unveiled its 2025-26 schedule, featuring a competitive slate of non-conference matchups, Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) battles, and marquee postseason opportunities.
 
The Roadrunners tip off the season with the annual Blue & White Scrimmage on October 23 at Bandy Gym before officially opening play at home against Oakwood (Ala.) on October 27.
 
Dalton State will hit the road early for the Reinhardt Classic in Waleska, Ga., facing Johnson (Tenn.) on November 1 and host Reinhardt on November 2. Other notable non-conference games include match ups with Georgia Gwinnett (Nov. 25) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) (Nov. 29).
 
Conference play begins November 13 at Thomas (Ga.), with the SSAC home opener set for November 20 against Brewton-Parker (Ga.). The Roadrunners will host key league opponents such as UT Southern (Jan. 15), Blue Mountain Christian (Jan. 17), and Loyola (La.) (Jan. 29) at Bandy Gym.
 
The regular season concludes with a home stretch featuring ABAC (Feb. 19) and Thomas (Feb. 21) before the SSAC Championships in Montgomery, Ala., from February 25-28. Postseason play continues with the NAIA Opening Round (March 13-14) and the NAIA National Championship in Kansas City, Mo. (March 19-24).
 
Head Coach Alex Ireland shared his excitement about the upcoming season:
"I'm excited to begin our 2025-26 season. Our schedule, as usual, proves to be a very challenging one. With 25% of our opponents consisting of last season's national tournament qualifiers, we should be tested early and often."
