MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Jia Kataria of Dalton State was named SSAC Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office has announced. The awards are based on performance for the week of April 14-20.
 
Jia Kataria (Dalton State – SO – New Delhi, India)

• This is her fifth-career weekly honor
• Kataria won the individual SSAC Women's Golf Championship, shooting four-over 220 (71, 77, 72)
• Her round-one 71 was one of only two under-par rounds and her final-round 72 gave her two of only four rounds of even par or better in the tournament
