Lady Roadrunners Hold At No. 2 In Mizuno WGCA NAIA Coaches Poll

3/23/2026 2:15:00 PM

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) released its second Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll of the Spring, and Dalton State remains firmly entrenched among the nation's elite, checking in at No. 2 at the NAIA level with 90 points.

The Lady Roadrunners' position reflects a strong start to the Spring season that included a runner-up finish at the Currahee Club Invitational.

Top-ranked Keiser (Fla.) retained the unanimous No. 1 spot with 10 first-place votes (100 points) after winning the Kona Ice Keiser Cup, while SCAD Savannah (Ga.) climbed to No. 3 on the strength of a Currahee victory and a fifth-place showing at the Oldfield Intercollegiate.

"Staying at No. 2 shows the consistency and depth we're building throughout the lineup," Coach Jim McGrew said.  "Currahee gave us great feedback on what travels in championship golf, and we're excited to keep sharpening as the Spring progresses."
