HATTIESBURG, Miss. – #1 Dalton State secured the overall team victory as three Roadrunners placed in the top-10 individually at the Carey Collegiate Classic presented by Walk-Ons at Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, Miss. on Monday and Tuesday.
 
#1 Dalton State (Ga.) 874 (+22) scored a 6-shot team victory with SSAC foes, #18 William Carey (Miss.), (RV) Blue Mountain (Miss.), and Point (Ga.) tying for second at 880 (+28). #2 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) rounded out the top 5 at 881 (+29).

RECAP
Jack Whaley led the team with impressive performances, scoring a -4 in Round 1 and -2 in Round 3, positioning him as a standout player of the tournament. Other significant contributions came from Ben McFadden and Barrett Loftis, who scored +3 and E, respectively, in Round 2, demonstrating the depth and resilience of the team. Tyler Latimer and Joe Getley also participated, although they faced tougher rounds, with Latimer recording +16 in Round 1 and +5 in Round 3, and Getley +10 in Round 2.
