MONTGOMERY, Ala. –  Dalton State senior guard Ja'Ron Briggs has earned his first-career SSAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honor for his standout performance during the week of Nov. 24–30.
 
Briggs, a Kansas City, Kan. native, averaged 18 points, nine rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game as the Roadrunners went 1-1 on the week. His biggest impact came in Dalton State's thrilling 84-79 victory over Lindsey Wilson, where he posted 19 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists, showcasing his ability to lead on both ends of the floor.
 
The SSAC also recognized Faulkner's KJ Rogers as the Defensive Player of the Week.
