Dalton State Battles To The End In 3-2 Thriller At Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. - Dalton State fought hard in a back-and-forth contest but fell 3-2 to Mobile (Ala.) on Thursday evening at The Jungle in Mobile, Ala. Despite goals from Lexi Lyon and Tania Dominguez, a late strike by the Rams proved decisive in this Southern States Athletic Conference matchup.

FIRST HALF
The Lady Roadrunners struck first in the 26th minute when Lexi Lyon converted a pass from Amy Wearing to give Dalton State a 1-0 lead. Mobile responded just before halftime as Charlotte Malamaire found the net unassisted in the 42nd minute, sending the teams into the break tied 1-1.
