  • Randy Bell followed up by getting into the paint and drawing two fouls on Voss, sending the Falcon big man to the bench as Dalton State upped the lead back to six points with 15:46 left to play.
  • An 8-2 spurt from the fast paced Falcons tied the game at 51-51 less than a minute and a half later.
  • Dalton State matched the intensity and came back with eight-straight points for a 59-51 lead at the halfway mark of the half.
  • A three ball from Nakic-Vojnovic cut the deficit to five, but the Birds hit the paint hard drawing fouls and hitting from the charity stripe.
  • The Roadrunner lead grew to 11 points with 6:20 on the clock after two Sean Cranney free throws.
  • The Birds continued to hit from the line and the field to hold a comfortable lead, but the Falcons made it interesting late with Matt Simpson hitting a pair of field goals with just over a minute remaining to cut the lead to five at 80-75.
  • Aaron Burress and Igor Stokic went to work from there as the duo scored the final five points of the game to ice it and five the Roadrunners a strong 85-75 road victory.
