Lady Birds Crush Tornadoes Again to Remain Undefeated

TALLADEGA, Ala. – The Dalton State Women's soccer team put on another stellar road performance, defeating the Talladega Tornadoes 7-1. Junior Andrea Lopez kicked in the first two goals and finished the game with a hat trick to lead the Roadrunners to a 4-0 record for the season.

Senior Alondra Salaises added a pair of goals. Junior Adriana Romero continued to shine with 2 assists for the first two goals. Junior Jacqueline Tapia finished the game with a goal and an assist, both in the first period.

Dalton State improves to 4-0 overall, while Talladega drops to 0-4 with the loss. With the win, the Lady Roadrunners also improve to 4-0 all time against the Tornadoes. Dalton State has routed Talladega in all four meetings.

UP NEXT
The Roadrunners will travel to Rome, Ga. to take on Shorter University on Monday, September 10. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m.
