Women's Soccer Travels To Brenau For Key SSAC Match-Up

DALTON, Ga. - The Dalton State women's soccer team will travel tonight, October 21 to take on Brenau University in a key SSAC matchup. With a win tonight the Lady Roadrunners will keep their chances at hosting a first round match in the Southern States Athletic Conference tournament alive. With a loss, it will almost be assured they will travel.

Dalton State has some momentum on their side, coming off a 6-0 win at Oakwood University on October 16. They will look to keep the momentum and a chance to host a first round match on their side tonight at Alex Creek Soccer Complex in Gainesville, GA.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Brenau enters the match at 7-6, 2-2 in the SSAC and winners of two straight. The Golden Tigers are led in scoring by Jasmine Brewsters' 4 goals, but they can score from anywhere. The triumverate of Maddie Corley, Taylor Bennett, and Alexis Satterfield have 2 goals and 3 assist each. Teams have had their opportunities to score on Brenau as they have allowed 23 goals on the year.
