Daytona Beach, FL - The Dalton State competition cheer team is competing in the NCA Collegiate Championships, which began Thursday in Daytona Beach.

The Dalton State cheerleaders took the stage Thursday with a routine that allowed them to move on to Friday's Finals without having to compete in Thursday evening's Challenge Cup.

"The athletes are ready to go hard in the finals," said Cheer Coach Robyn Pursley. The Thursday morning score of 85.78 placed the squad "at around six of 16." They are competing in the NAIA Small Co-Ed division.
