The Brenau University Golden Lions, ranked No. 2 in the Southern States Athletic Conference, defeated the Dalton State Lady Roadrunners tennis team, 7-2, Tuesday at the Lakeshore Park Tennis Center.
 

"The score really doesn't indicate hw close the match was," said Lady Roadrunner Tennis Coach Michel Bates. Brenau started by taking the first two doubles matches and captured all but one of the singles.

Doubles:

1. Fatyha Berjane and Patricia Recalde Pacua (BU) defeated Daniela Sanchez and Diana Narino (DS), 8-0

2. Maria Pedoma-Medina and Paula Rives Paulau (BU) defeated Laura Winter and Chelsea Powell (DS) 8-6
