Box Score Lady Roadrunners Defeat Brewton-Parker
 
Mount Vernon, GA. – Every Lady Roadrunner played Friday night as the Dalton State volleyball team defeated Brewton-Parker in straight sets.
 
"Kailey Vaughn, Alyne Bianchi and Savannah Nelson were our most consistent hitters," said DS Coach Bruna Langner. I am confident we are ready to play Saturday (at Coastal Georgia).
 
It was an easy sweep for Dalton State (25-15, 25-7, and 25-22). Bianchi had 10 kills and nine digs. Nelson had seven kills and Vaughn 6. Michala Askew had 28 scoring assists and 10 digs. Karly Newman had 18 digs.
 
The Lady Roadrunners improved to 15 wins and 10 losses on the season and 10-7 in the SSAC. They now play College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick to end the season Saturday at 2:00 p.m.  The Mariners have already wrapped up the regular season championship.
