Biography
Kailey Vaughn # 11
5'10" Volleyball Player
Vaughn is a 2012 graduate of Sonoraville High School in Gordon County, GA. She was a three-sport star at Sonoraville, participating in volleyball, basketball, and track.
She started all four years at Sonorabille and holds 14 school records. The Phoenix had four state tournament appearances with a total 93-49 record. Kailey was named Player of the Year by both the Calhoun Times and the Rome News Tribune. She was a three year starter for the North Georgia Rage and holds Sonoraville school records in the shotput and the discus. She is a business major.
The daughter of Melanie and Trace Vaughn looks forward to being part of the very first Roadrunner volleyball team. "It's just a good school and I am really excited that they have a volleyball program starting this year and I am proud to be one of the inaugural signees," she said.
Kailey played for Reinhardt in the fall, 2012. She transferred to Dalton State for spring semester and will be a junior during fall, 2014.
