Dalton State Falls To Martin Methodist

PULASKI, Tenn. - The Dalton State volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Martin Methodist on Saturday in Southern States Athletic Conference play at Robert M. Curry Christian Life Center in Pulaski, TN.

The Roadrunners fell to 8-16, 7-10 in the SSAC, while Martin Methodist improved to 11-15, 8-8 in the Southern States.

Dalton State was led by Anna Metzler with 8 kills and 8 digs. Ryan Burke contributed 7 kills and 2 blocks. Junior Grace Hardin had 6 kills in the match. Senior Clarissa Weber had a solid 16 assist setting up the offense to go along with 8 digs.

The Lady Roadrunners will be back in action on Thursday, November 3 when they travel to Brewton-Parker for a 7:00 p.m. match-up with the Barons.

ON THE HORIZON
Dalton State will end the regular season on a three-match road trip starting on November 3 when they face Brewton-Parker. The will travel to Brunswick the next day, November 4, to tussel with Coastal Georgia. They will end the regular season on Saturday, November 5 against Middle Georgia. The Southern States Athletic Conference will be held November 9-12 at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery, AL.
