Biography
Lucas Souza is a 5'9", 175 lbs. senior. The native of Brazil is the captain of the 2014-15 Roadrunners. He hopes to continue studies and be a part of the Dalton State coaching staff after graduating this spring.
Lucas began his college career at Itawamba Community College in northeast Mississippi. While at Itawamba, de Souza made it to the quarterfinals of the NJCAA National Tournament in doubles. He played #1 singles and doubles for Itawamba.
"Lucas is a phenomenal player and student athlete," Rogers said. "He is a leader for us on the court and in the classroom."
"I am really excited to be part of Dalton tennis and I have enjoyed every minute of my life at Dalton State College," de Souza said. He is a business management major.
