Biography
Sean Elliot is a junior for Dalton State Men's Golf. He is studying at Dalton State to major in Marketing.
As a sophomore for the Roadrunners, Sean won the Arnold Palmer Award as a low medalist in the NAIA National Championship Tournament breaking two long standing records... a 32-year-old 54-hole national championship scoring record (202) and a 60-year-old 72-hole national championship record (68-69-65-70 = 272).
Sean finished the 2014-2015 season with an NAIA best 70.67 scoring average.
He was a first team All-American, first team All-Conference, medalist in the SSAC Championship Tournament (69-67-64 = 200), and was an NAIA National Player of the Week.
Elliott previously attended the University of Central Missouri. At UCM, Elliot was apart of the MIAA Conferece Champions and Regional Champs. He was ranked 5th in the National Championship and was a medalist in the US Amateur Public Links Qualifier.
Sean Elliot's favorite golf course is Pinehurst #2 and his dream four ball are Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones, Tiger Woods, and Jack Nicklaus.
Fall 2015 Recap:
Sean continued his winning ways this fall with a victory on the first playoff hole at the Blue Raider Golf Classic.It was Sean’s first college event since the national tournament victory.
His back-to-back rounds of 66 were the lowest rounds of the season for the Roadrunners.
Sean led the team with a 71.8 scoring average in ten tournament rounds. He finished 1st, T7, T14 and T24 and was the low scorer for Dalton State in all four fall tournaments.
