Peyton came to Dalton State from Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga. where she was a Graduate Assistant from 2019-2021. Her main duties for the Night Hawks was baseball and men's and women's soccer, but she helped fill holes where needed and eventually work on every sport Thomas sponsored. She graduated with a Master's of Business Administration in May of 2021.
Before her time at Thomas, Peyton studied at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA attaining a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2019. She further honed her skills working as an athletic training intern at Kennesaw State University in the Summer of 2018.
Originally from Macon, Ga., Peyton currently lives in Chattanooga, Tenn. In her free time she enjoys traveling to new places and hopes to visit other countries in the future. She became an athletic trainer to help people in more than just athletics. Her dad demonstrated a principle he called "loving leadership" all through her brother's sports days and her father's coaching career. He made sure everyone felt they had a place of comfort in him even if they may not have gotten it anywhere else. It pushed Peyton to be the same way in her career today.
