MONTGOMERY, Ala. - After a standout performance at the Roadrunner Classic, Tyler Latimer of Dalton State has been named the SSAC Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of March 30 – April 5.
 
A senior from Canton, Georgia, Latimer captured the first weekly award of his career by posting one of the top rounds of the tournament and finishing third overall in a strong field at the Roadrunner Classic. Latimer fired a three-under-par 213, carding rounds of 72, 72 and 69 to secure his podium finish and lead the Roadrunners on the leaderboard.
 
Latimer's closing 69 highlighted his consistency across three rounds and underscored his ability to finish strong, turning a steady first two rounds into a top-three result. His performance helped Dalton State continue its run of weekly recognition within the conference this season and provided momentum heading into the stretch run of the spring schedule.
