KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dalton State men's golf continued its strong national run as Ben McFadden, Tyler Latimer, and Scott Frisby were named to the 2025-26 NAIA Men's Golf All-America Team, released Thursday. McFadden earned first-team honors, while Latimer was selected to the second-team, and Frisby the third-team.

"This recognition is a reflection of the commitment, consistency, and competitive spirit Ben, Tyler, and Scott showed throughout the year," said Dalton State head coach Ben Rickett. "Ben established himself as one of the top players in the country, Tyler delivered the kind of veteran leadership every successful team needs, and Scott's growth and impact as a freshman were exceptional. To have three players earn All-America honors is a great statement about where our program is and the culture these guys continue to build."

Dalton State was one of just three programs nationally to place three golfers across the three All-America teams, joining Webber International (Fla.) and Reinhardt (Ga.), while also leading the Southern States Athletic Conference.

McFadden, a sophomore from London, England, capped a standout season with one of the best statistical profiles in the NAIA. He finished the year ranked No. 10 nationally, posted a 70.3 adjusted scoring average over 29 rounds, and recorded three wins with three top-three finishes.

Among McFadden's signature performances were victories at the Music City Collegiate at 11-under, the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite at 2-under, and the LTU Spring Break Invitational at 3-under, in addition to a seventh-place finish at the NAIA Men's National Championship against a 190-player field.

His postseason résumé was just as impressive in conference play, where he was named the SSAC Player of the Year and also earned First-Team All-SSAC honors, and finished fourth at the 2026 SSAC Men's Golf Championship at 1-over.

Latimer, a senior from Canton, Georgia, added Second-Team All-America recognition after putting together a consistent final season. He closed the year ranked No. 36 nationally, with a 71.8 adjusted scoring average across 25 rounds, plus one top-three finish.

Latimer's top finishes included third at the Roadrunner Classic at 3-under, fourth at the LTU Spring Break Invitational at 3-over, seventh at the Bojangles Invitational at 1-under, and 13th at the Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational at 1-over.

His strong year also earned him First-Team All-SSAC honors, giving Dalton State three first-team all-conference selections on the men's side.

Frisby, a freshman from Gainsborough, England, emerged as one of the NAIA's top newcomers and collected Third-Team All-America honors after finishing the season ranked No. 33 nationally with a 71.5 adjusted scoring average over 25 rounds. He also logged one top-three finish during his first collegiate campaign.

Frisby's best results included a runner-up finish at the Bojangles Invitational at 5-under, sixth at the Roadrunner Classic at 1-over, eighth at the SSAC Championship at 4-over, and 13th-place finishes at both the Music City Collegiate and Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational.

For his efforts, Frisby was recognized as the SSAC Co-Freshman of the Year and joined McFadden and Latimer on the First-Team All-SSAC list, underscoring the Roadrunners' depth from top to bottom.

Dalton State as a team also backed up those individual honors with an outstanding season, finishing 8th nationally at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship, posting a 287.4 team adjusted scoring average, and totaling five team wins with seven top-three finishes across 10 stroke-play events.

The Roadrunners won the 2026 SSAC Men's Golf Championship, the Roadrunner Classic, the BMCU Spring Classic, the Bojangles Invitational, and the Music City Collegiate, continuing one of the NAIA's most consistent program runs under head coach Ben Rickett.

The NAIA recognized 45 All-Americans across three teams this season, and Dalton State's three selections highlighted the program's continued place among the nation's elite.
