KANSAS CITY, Mo. Dalton State women's golf held steady as the unanimous No. 2 team in the nation in the April 10 NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25, continuing a strong spring run as the Roadrunners close the regular season and turn their focus to postseason play.

Dalton State collected 452 points in the rating and remained second behind No. 1 Keiser (Fla.), which earned all 17 first-place votes. Marian (Ind.) jumped two spots to No. 3, rounding out the top three in this week's release.

ELITE INDIVIDUAL PLAY FUELS NATIONAL RANKING
The Roadrunners' place near the top of the national poll has been powered by standout performances throughout the lineup, led by two of the NAIA's highest-ranked individuals. Jia Kataria, the top-ranked player nationally by Clippd, and Sara Burger, ranked third, have helped Dalton State maintain championship-level consistency across the year.

SEASON SNAPSHOT
Dalton State enters the postseason with three tournament victories on the season, including three home wins, including a playoff victory at the Lady Roadrunner Spring Invite. With the regular season now complete, the Lady Birds will shift fully into championship mode.

UP NEXT: SSAC Championship (April 20)
Dalton State's postseason begins at the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Championship, which tees off April 20. The Roadrunners will look to carry their national momentum into the league tournament as they build toward the NAIA Championship stretch run.
