RECAP
FIRST HALF
Dalton State struck early from deep, Qualen Pettus and Ja'Ron Briggs hit threes in the opening minutes, to set the tone offensively. The half remained tight with four ties and three lead changes, but a Pettus layup in the final minute sent the Roadrunners to the locker room in front 42–41. Dalton State shot 50.0% in the period (4-of-10 from three) and owned the glass 18–14 at the break, helping generate 12 first-half free throws and steady half-court offense.

SECOND HALF
Blue Mountain Christian briefly flipped the game out of the break when Jonathan Baker converted a four-point play to make it 45–42 Toppers at 19:39. Dalton State answered immediately as Danak scored at the rim, Raylan Barrion drilled a wing three, and Smith followed with a dunk and a tip-in, a 9–0 run that restored control at 51–45.

Pettus and Briggs added back-to-back threes to stretch it to 60–50, and Jamori McDougald twice hit from deep, part of a 9-point half off the bench, to keep the margin comfortable. McDougald's three free throws at 2:52 marked Dalton State's largest lead (16) before the Roadrunners closed out the 10-point win.
