KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dalton State Men's Golf surged eight spots to a tie for No. 6 in the final fall edition of the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25, marking one of the most significant jumps in the poll. The Roadrunners closed the fall season with a dramatic victory at the Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate, posting a two-round total of 2-under-par to edge out No. 2 Reinhardt (Ga.) by a single stroke.
 
This performance solidified Dalton State's position among the nation's elite programs heading into the winter break. The team shares the No. 6 ranking with Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), who moved up four spots after winning the Mid-South Fall Preview.
 
Top 10 Overview (Dalton State Highlighted):

1. Keiser (Fla.) – Unanimous No. 1 with all 17 first-place votes.
2. Reinhardt (Ga.) – Held steady at No. 2 after a strong fall.
3. Marian (Ind.) – Climbed two spots to No. 3.
4. Oklahoma City – Re-entered the top five with back-to-back wins.
5. Friends (Kan.) – Up four spots after winning the KCAC Match Play.
6. Dalton State (Ga.) – Up eight spots after winning the Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate.
7. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) – Tied with Dalton State after a fall-ending win.
8. Ave Maria (Fla.) – Dropped two spots.

Ratings Methodology

• The rating is rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and unaffiliated groupings.
• The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 for third-place and so on through the list.
• The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team's rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
• Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered "receiving votes".
