MONTGOMERY, Ala. –  Dalton State junior Jia Kataria, a native of New Delhi, India, has been named the SSAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her outstanding performance during the week of October 20–26. This marks Kataria's sixth career honor from the Southern States Athletic Conference.
 
She earned the recognition after capturing the individual title at the Lady Roadrunner Fall Invite, a highly competitive tournament featuring six teams ranked in the NAIA top 10. Kataria posted a stellar five-over-par total of 221 across three rounds, shooting scores of 76, 73, and 72. Her consistent play helped solidify her status as one of the top golfers in the conference.
