GREENVILLE, Ala. – #1-ranked Dalton State made it a wire-to-wire win, taking the victory in the SSAC Championship at RTJ Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Ala. on Wednesday.
 
#1 Dalton State (Ga.) (867, +3) gets a 5-stroke victory over #19 William Carey (Miss.) in 2^nd at 872 (+8). (RV) Blue Mountain Christian (Miss.) (901, +37) was 3^rd, with UT Southern (Tenn.) in 4^th at 905 (+41). #16 Point (Ga.) (912, +48) rounded out the top 5.

ROUND 3
It was another even-par 72 for Brock Hoover as he made it back-to-back SSAC Individual Medalist honors. Jarod Edwards once again finished in red numbers with a 3-under 69 to tie for 7^th individually. Steve Kibare joined him in the top-10, matching Hoover with a 72 (E).
 
Jack Whaley posted 5-over 77, with Trevor Bassett carding 9-over 81. Respectively, they finished tied for 14^th and solo 18^th.

AWARDS
Whaley took home SSAC Player and Freshman of the Year honors as well as 1^st team All-SSAC. He was joined on the 1^st team by Edwards, Hoover, Bassett, and Kibare as the Birds took 5 of the 6 1^st team nods.
 
Bassett, Hoover, and Tyler Latimer were All-Academic selections, with Whaley also making the All-Freshman team. Coach Ben Rickett also got the SSAC Coach of the Year award.

#1 Dalton State will now prepare for the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship. The Roadrunners are hosting the event this season, May 21-24, at Dalton Golf & Country Club.
