Roadrunners Finish Off Regular Season With Win Over Brewton-Parker (Ga.)


DALTON, Ga. – Dalton State finished off the regular on Senior Day with a 69-61 victory over a stubborn Brewton-Parker team in SSAC play at Mashburn Arena in Dalton.
 
Jaelin Ferrell led the Birds with 21 points and 4 rebounds. Franklin Almonte added 18 points and 9 boards as the only other Roadrunner to finish in double-figures. Rodley Adjei dished out 10 dimes with Antares Gwyn pulling down 11 rebounds.
 
The Barons were led by Aaron Udell with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Griffin Cherry added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the loss.
 
These two teams will meet again in the 7-10 matchup in the SSAC Tournament that starts on Wednesday, February 23 in Montgomery, Ala. Tip-Off is scheduled 2:00 p.m. (CT) at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex.
