Lady Roadrunners Defeated By #5 UT Southern


PULASKI, Tenn. – #5 UT Southern proved to be too much for Dalton State as the FireHawks defeated the Lady Roadrunners 6-0 at Grissom Pitch in Pulaski, Tenn. on Saturday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF
  • (1-0 TS) TS: Keito Ido scored the first of four goals on the day when Yuki Watari found her in the 10' to open scoring.
  • (2-0 TS) TS: Watari got in on the action in the 12' as Adisa Amang connected with her the 2-0 lead.
  • (3-0 TS) TS: Ido and Amang hooked up next in the 23' to extend the FireHawk lead to three.
  • (4-0 TS) TS: Amang found Ido again in the 26' for the four-goal advantage.
SECOND HALF
  • (5-0 TS) TS: Ido scored her fourth goal in the 61' unassisted.
  • (6-0 TS) TS: Amang collected assist number four when Mackenzie Stroebel booted a goal in the 88'.
THE REST OF THE STORY
Dalton State (Ga.) falls to 1-3 overall with the loss, while #5 UT Southern improves to 3-0 overall with the win.
