DALTON, Ga. – #15 Dalton State advanced to the semifinal round of the SSAC Men's Soccer Tournament with a 2-0 win over Middle Georgia at Lakeshore Park Soccer Complex in Dalton on Friday.

(1-0 DS) DS: Zachary Perry headed a superb free kick from the boot of Jurgen Ramirez in the 70' to break a scoreless tie.
(2-0 DS) DS: Dalton State added some insurance in the 88' with a goal from Justin Riescher on an assist from Balmore Cruz.

THE REST OF THE STORY
#15 Dalton State (Ga.) improves to (12-4-1 overall) with the win, while Middle Georgia falls to (4-11-2 overall) with the win. Zachary Perry and Justin Riescher scored for the Birds. It was their 3^rd and 15^th goals of the season respectively.

DS held the advantage in shots at 7-4 overall and 3-1 on frame. The match had 31 total fouls and only 4 corner kicks combined.
