#14 Roadrunners Get Past (RV) Tennessee Wesleyan, Advance To Play #6 Keiser


DALTON, Ga. – #14 Dalton State got the job done on Thursday collecting their first ever NAIA Men's Soccer Championship win with a 1-0 victory over (RV) Tennessee Wesleyan at Keiser Multi-Purpose Field in West Palm Beach, Fla.

#14 Dalton State (Ga.) improves to (13-5-1 overall) with the win, while (RV) Tennessee Wesleyan ends the season at (12-7-3 overall) with the loss. Justin Riescher scored goal number 16 of the season while Connor Nixon added his 4th assist.
 
The DS defense was stout holding the Bulldogs to just 5 shots total and 1 on goal. Dalton State totaled 18 shots on the afternoon with 5 coming on frame.

#14 Dalton State will continue on in the NAIA Men's Soccer Championship with a matchup against #6 Keiser (Fla.) on Saturday, November 20 in West Palm Beach, Fla. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
