DALTON, Ga. – The Dalton State volleyball team improved to 4-9 overall and 3-5 in the Southern States Athletic Conference with a convincing straight set win over the visiting Brewton-Parker Barons at Bandy Gymnasium.
The Lady Roadrunners started the evening winning the first set 25-19. The second set was even easier at 25-10. Dalton State broke open a 5-5 tie in the third set and cruised to a 25-8 win.
Anna Metzler led the Roadrunners in kills with 8.
Grace Hardin followed with 5 and
Julia Borges had 4. Brooke Thomas had 15 assists and
Clarissa Weber added 10.
Clarissa Weber had 13 DS digs and Metzler added 9.
Dalton State will host College of Coastal Georgia Friday at 7:00 p.m.
