Volleyball Ends Florida Swing 1-3

Roadrunners Start Conference Play September 8th

The Dalton State women's volleyball team ended the Keiser University Invitational 1-3 on Saturday with a closing loss to host Keiser 3-1.  The Roadrunners started hot with an opening set 26-24 win, but dropped the following three sets to garner the loss.  Dalton State continued to get strong play from setters Brooke Thomas and Clarissa Weber who assisted on 20 and 18 points each.  Anna Metzler continued to announce her presence as a player to game plan for with 19 kills and 11 digs.  "We played with heart today," said Dalton State coach Bruna Langner.  "We have a lot of things to improve on before Thursday's match against Faulkner, but I am confident that we will get better.  It was a fun day to watch my girls play volleyball." The Roadrunners return to the court on Thursday, September 8th at Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL.
