MOBILE, Al. - The Dalton State Women's Volleyball team stumbled a bit on the road Thursday night at Mobile.  The Lady Roadrunners started out strong in the first game.  After trailing 20-18, the Roadrunners went on a 5-0 run to take the lead for good in the 25-22 win.  

Game two would be a different story as Mobile jumped out to a quick 8-2 lead and would never look back taking the second set 25-13.  Games three and four would be much of the same as Mobile would start out hot and build big leads that were too much for the Roadrunners to overcome. 

Dalton State was led by Anna Metzler, who continued her steady play on the year, with 7 kills, 8 digs, and 2 blocks.  Junior Ryan Burke led the Roadrunners in kills on the night with 8.  Cassandra Cox, 6 kills and 4 digs, and Grace Hardin, 5 kills and 2 blocks, also had solid nights for the Roadrunners.

Dalton State will play again tonight in Hattiesburg, MS when they match up against William Carey University.  Game time will be 8:00 p.m. EST, 7:00 p.m. CST.
