Roadrunners Drop Second Match On Friday

The Dalton State Roadrunner women's volleyball team lost their second match of the day on Friday.  Florida College defeated the Roadrunners 3-1 in the Keiser University Invitational being held in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  "It was a rough day for the Roadrunners today," said Dalton State volleyball coach Bruna Langner.  "The sets we won today, we won playing really well.  We are a young team and this tournament is going to help us prepare for next week when conference matches start." There were many bright spots for the Dalton State women.  Junior Anna Metzler led the way for the Roadrunners netting 17 kills and 14 digs.  Freshman Brooke Thomas from Glynn Academy continued her steller play early in the season with 21 assist.  Senior Clarissa Weber added 14 assist to the Roadrunner total.
