Pulaski, Tn. – The No. 8 Dalton State men's tennis team handled Martin Methodist 7-1 Saturday in Southern States Athletic Conference action.  

"I challenged the guys this week and they stepped up and took care of business against a tough conference opponent," said DS men's coach Zack Rogers.

"We started slow at 1 & 2 doubles, but managed to pull it together and take all three lines," added Rogers. "I was really proud of how David (Draghiceanu) played in Adam Hornby's absence. He was able to secure two lines for us today and is proving to be someone who the team can rely on. Hopefully we can continue to build momentum amd carry it into our upcoming matches with Middle Georgia State and Coastal Georgia."

Faulkner is SSAC Men's Basketball Champion

The No. 5-seeded Faulkner Eagles punched their tickets to the NAIA National Tournament on Saturday by defeating No. 2-seed Middle Georgia State in the SSAC Championship game, 78-64. The Eagles join regular season champs William Carey in representing the conference in Kansas City. It is possible that additional team(s) will be named during the live selection show on Wednesday, March 9th starting at 6:00 p.m. CT.
