Montgomery, Ala. – Several Dalton State men's players were honored Wednesday during the annual Southern States Athletic Conference basketball banquet at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery.

Jamaine Burrey is the SSAC Defensive Player of the Year. The senior from Columbus, Georgia leads the conference and is fifth in NAIA Division I in total steals with 65. He is sixth in the country in steals per game (2.250)

Jalen Robinson are on the All-Conference first team.
Marcel Hawkins is second team All-SSAC.

Bowling, the 2015 NAIA Tournament MVP, was named an SSAC Champion of Character. His ranked 23
rd in NAIA Division I in 3-pt field goal pct. at 43.6, 34
th, and his 7.679 rebounds a game and 215 total rebound are 36
th in NAIA D-I. He is a native of Somerville, Ala.

Since becoming eligible on Dec. 30
th, Robinson tops the Roadrunners at 14.8 points per game. Robinson is just behind Bowling in rebounds per game.Robinson is from Dayton, Oh.
