Basketball Gets Big Win In Overtime

MARIETTA, Ga. - Dalton State basketball defeated Life University Monday night 91-89 in overtime at The Eagles Nest in Marietta, GA.

The teams were tied at 82 after regulation. Big free throws in overtime and a big steal by Hardin and layup by Black provided late heroics.

Mon'Darius Black lead Roadrunner scorers with 17 points and had five steals. Sayvon Wilson completed the double double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Carnilious Simmons scored 17 points and added 9 rebounds.

Reed Dungan scored 14 points, Mike Hardin added 9 points and five rebounds. J'Quayveon Williams totaled 7 points 8 rebounds for the Roadrunners.

Dalton State plays an Exhibition game on Tuesday, November 22, at NCAA Division I Jacksonville State (Ala.). Tip-off will be at 7:30 p.m. CST.
