Volleyball To Host William Carey On Senior Night

DALTON, Ga. - Dalton State volleyball will host William Carey on Senior Night tonight, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. in Bandy Gym. The Roadrunners are coming off a big five set win over Brenau on October 14 and looking to add another W to the win column.

The Roadrunners sit in 7th place in the SSAC standings, two games up on William Carey in 8th and one game out of 5th place. The Lady Birds are hoping to string together some quality wins to end the regular season.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
William Carey comes into the contest tonight at 6-15, 4-9 in the Southern States, losers of 6 straight and 8 of their last 9. They are led on offense by Chassidy Harris (3.29 kills/set), Megan Zulli (2.78 kills/set) and Lisa Faolotoi (2.01 kills/set). The setup artist is Mikaela Hall. Hall's 8.17 assist/set place her fifth in the conference. The Crusaders play TEAM defense. They have 8 players with over 80 digs on the year and have 90 blocks as a team. William Carey's last win came on September 23 against Dalton State.

Tonight is Senior Night. Pre-game there will be a special presentation to our seniors, Clarissa Weber and Karly Newman.
