"It was a solid win for the team today. We came out and took control of the match early getting all three doubles points. Nik and Adam brought the same intensity to their singles matches and locked up the final two points for the team in convincing fashion." Coach Rogers explains.

(8-4) Dalton State Women's Tennis team falls to (8-3) Tennessee Wesleyan, 6-3.

"The women struggled today, not to take anything away from Tennessee Wesleyan's team." Coach Michel Bates says. "Tennessee Wesleyan's women's team is very talented; we just didn't play our best match today. I hope we take this loss, learn from it, and turn it into a positive. This is a great group of young ladies and I have no doubt that we will bounce back from this loss."

Next up for the Men's Tennis will be Thursday, April 3rd against Young Harris. The match is set to be at the Lakeshore Courts and will begin at 2:00pm. The Women's Tennis will have a brief break until Saturday, April 5th, where they will join the men's team and play Georgia Gwinnett at 10:00 am and Martin Methodist at 1:00 pm.
